I got a virus the other day, and I started to run other diagnostic to see if there was anything else wrong with MY computer.
I am new to the computer repair business and I do not have very much knowledge dealing with viruses.
I was going to run trend micro's House Call-online virus scanner, however I was unable to access it. A java script error came up saying it was not activated, I was told to go into Internet Options to the secuirty tab and turn it on. However, there was a message saying that only the administrator could make that change. I am the administrator and I did not set any passwords on the machine for the user accounts. I have no way to make the changes necessary to fix this problem and finish the other scans and diagnostics.
Does anyone have any tips, advise, or solutions to help me fix this problem.
