[REQUEST] Various BSODs | No Hardware Issues

Newer HP laptop has been BSODing since it was new (most frequent is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL).

Used the built-in hardware diagnostics and memtest86 Pro and found 0 issues. Thought the RAM was bad and causing data corruption.

Software issue?

  • HP 15-au030wm
  • Intel Core i5-6200U @ 2.3GHz
  • Built 8/19/2016
  • 8GB (4GBx2) RAM PC4-17,000/DDR3-2133MHz (4GBx2)
  • 1TB HDD

Tested
  • RAM for 18 hours, 40 minutes - 25 passes
  • Hard drive quick test, short test, SMART, long DST

Driver related issues might be the culprit. Turn off Windows 10's automatic driver updates on a fresh install of Windows 10 and then download all the drivers manually from HP's website. Windows 10 loves to install newer (but not 100% compatible) drivers.

Good idea. I always do manual updates when possible.
