Using your website as a "tech tool" portal.

I just don't link to them. I keep them on my site but with names that I remember so if I need something I just enter the url.
That won't stop Google finding them and indexing them..

I could, but I use that same no-ip domain name to direct other types of services, such as my SimpleHelp remote access server, to my office. I just use 80 to point to my NAS and other ports for various other things.
Well then that makes sense if your using it for more than one thing. For just Synology, I wouldnt do it.
