I installed Untangle in bridged mode on a repurposed desktop today. I did the installation off the network except for the WAN side. Everything installed & updated. Once the setup was complete I placed it behind my Edgerouter X and before my Meraki switch and booted the box. While I do have Internet access (I'm here), I'm unable to login to the admin panel for Untangle. I can see the login from the ip address, but it refuses to accept my password. So, I took it out and set it back up on my desk and checked the configuration and I just don't see why it keeps saying my password isn't correct. The log shows multiple failed login attempts due to a bad password but nothing I've tried gets me in. Even the default root password is refused. So, I've taken it back out until I get this resolved.
Mr. Wizard said I could configure the internal NIC later, but the WAN side was necessary. I am assuming (I know, I know) that because I have internet access and the second NIC is set to bridged, the problem lies elsewhere. I haven't seen anything on their forums addressing this so it's probably operator error.
