UK Techs Remote charges

Soooo,
I have just bought Splashtop SOS.

Now I need to figure out how I charge customers that I remote in to.

How much do you UK techs charge and do you charge by the minute/ per call or per 15 mins?

I don't know where to start with this really. Could do with some ideas.

You could charge pr call, at your current rate, or what ever your current hourly rate is. with a min of say 30 mins chargable.

It would all depend on what type of job/repair your remoting in for.

I.e, if it was a tune up / cleanse, then I would do it at my normal fixed rate. If it was something like, can you show me how to do X. Then it would be my hourly rate.

My normal domestic rate is £40 / hour.

Several factors come into play, in that...
1. You don't have to travel
2. You can work on a home machine whilst running scans on the remote.

As a vague rule, I charge £20 for a remote quick fix.
Anything more elaborate such as a time consuming scan, it's back to £40.
