Thinking along the lines of the ei.cfg removal utility..

The iso of Win7 ultimate on technet, I guess this will still not work for general retail or oem installs?

Technically it should but I haven't tried. Windows 7 Technet ISO is the Ultimate edition, so it should work on a Ultimate Edition Win 7 System. Don't know if it would work or not but it should!!

I have created a a bootable usb flash drive with a Windows 7 and Windows Vista all installation. The all in one allows me to boot from my flash drive and choose all version of windows to be installed, 32-Bit and 64-Bit versions. You can just delete the ie.cfg file from the install CD.

Works with retail and OEM version

Should work with all released versions, retail, oem, or technet as far as I know.
