System Preparation Tool 3.14 Launches on Statup - Vista

The System Preparation Tool 3.14 Launches automatically when Vista boots.

Toshiba Satellite P305-S8910
Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit

I can not locate it in msconfig our autoruns.

No luck with google, or searching the forums either.

Hoping someone here has come across this before.

Silly question I'm sure, but...

Have you tried setting the System Cleanup Action to 'Enter System OOB Experience' and restarting?

Does it still boot into the Sysprep Tool ?

Nope, very good question actually!

As I have never come across this before I wasn't sure if this was going to wipe the system or what.

All the data has been backed up, so here goes nothing.

Once it completed everything was just as it was beforehand. A lot of needless worry on my part.
