Hi folks,
I've got a client here who's suddenly getting a bit of spam with Outlook 2010. For the past few days he's getting about 30 messages a day. This is his work email--all other office emails are okay.
Since he just let me know before he headed out the door today, I'll be taking a look tomorrow. First thing I want to do is make sure his machine isn't infected and that his email hasn't been compromised. If both those check out, I'll move on.
That's where I'd like to ask: What are some effective ways of dealing with this? I know I can check the definition updates for the filter, but those should come in as part of regular Windows Updates. I could also advise him to mark the offending messages as 'junk' for a couple days and see if that helps. I've also looked into plugins and such, specifically I found...

Does anyone have any other tips or tricks I could use here to get him back to 'clean' (assuming what I do tomorrow doesn't help)?
As always, thanks in advance for any advice!
