Steve Jobs Dead

I'm not an apple fan either but this guy deserves a moment of silence..

I am very much an Apple fan because I like nice things that actually work. Steve was not only the ceo of apple but without him we would not have half the tech the each of us enjoy each day. No matter if you use a PC or Mac an iPhone or Android device.

As for the comment: It pisses me off greatly that there are certain people that actually care its called an iphone 4 or 5. Does it really matter? Its a huge step up from the 4. Why does there have to be a major change in the look or UI for some people to think progress is being made? Oh yeah, thats the Windows attitude. If it aint broke fix it till it is. Win 8 being a prime example.

Huge loss for the community. I really think it is way too early for all the sarcastic comments going around though, has everyone loss their sense of respect (not referring to anyone here, specifically all the "jokes" going around Twitter). Apple fan or not, the man was an innovator.

A true pioneer. RIP

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk ........ Whilst proclaiming the machine fixed, grabbing the cash and running like hell.

I am 100% Wintel guy.

Seems to me apple greatly enhanced the internet, later started the wireless revolution, then the Ipod, Ipad, Itunes........ If Jobs had not left Apple for 8 years MS would never have almost caught up with Apple.

This is an Indescribable loss that won't be fully understood for decades.

I'm afraid there will be no one to replace him so who does MisterSofty copy now? 5 years from now we will no doubt be doing the same things we are doing now with little new innovation or excitement.

I have never owned an apple computer but have a vision to get one hopefully in the near future. I recently listened to Steve Job's speech he gave at Stanford in 2005. It is here.

Steve Job's 2005 speech

I have much respect for his character and attitude.

"Steve was among the greatest of American innovators - brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it," Obama.

Like this quote.

Original poster was reported as soon as the comment was made, yet it has not been removed. This says a lot about the moderators on these forums. Remove the horrible comment you disrespectful person.

I went to the apple store in Sydney today were flowers were being laid in memory of a great man. A man who with his creative visions was the driving force behind technology that the world uses today. I can't recall any businessman ever having flowers and memorials laid outside there company doors. His legacy will live on.

I'm not a apple fan either, but Steve's memory will live on to all who own / have used any Apply device.

A man who could truly see the future, and where it lies.

May you rest in peace Mr Jobs.

@gazza, you may not of agreed with the OP, but there is no reason for your language either.
