Slow Slow Slow

One of my "not so rich" clients just passed me a bad check for $115. I called and left her a voicemail, emailed her...won't get a call back from her again I'm sure. Not event worth chasing. She had to pay $35 for the check I'm sure, I don't feel bad for her, but I don't get why folks write bad checks. What's the piont.

That's also why I prefer credit card payments, no check to worry about. It clears or it doesn't.

I've probably said this already but I am very happy that Las Vegas has a Bad Check Division of the District Attorney. They either pay or they go to jail. I do not tolerate bad checks... It just pisses me off!

That's a pretty excellent return - would you be willing to post your flyer here?

Thanks!

I had this printed in black and white. The new ones I had done that I haven't started passing out yet are close to this but I took the AVG logo off and added my website address. I completely forgot to put my web address on the first run of fliers.

I haven't received a bad check yet and 80% of my payments are by check. Xing fingers

95% of my payments are cheque - I've had 3 bad ones in 7 years

1st was a genuine mistake by the lady, which was soon resolved

2nd was a lady who screwed me over for £80

3rd was a guy who tried to screw me over with a cheque that bounced but I tricked him by telling him that the HDD I installed was part of a bad batch and I'd pop over to replace it. Took it out and told him that he wouldn't get his data back until he paid me in cash, which he did the next day

Here in the US you would probably get arrested for that 3rd one. Dam liberal country, lol.

Good play though, I like it.

Smooth operator! Gonna have to save this for the inevitable day when I get a cheque bouncer

I heard in Europe that you can get arrested for not paying your bills.
