[SOLVED] Siri on iOS 15 Not Working Offline

Edit: Sigh, it appears that Siri simply does not support adding notes offline. Siri does other tasks offline so the feature must be working.

Got a new iPhone 13 Pro 256GB with iOS 15.2 setup as new phone.

Siri does not work offline as she is supposed to (new iOS 15 feature).

I tried getting her to create a note for me when I had poor/no data and she could not do.

Which makes perfect sense. It’s just not possible to put on an iPhone every possible combination of syllables for every possible word and get the right syntax and grammar. There’s just not enough computer power in a phone, tablet, or even a desktop computer for that.

Not roasting here.. but it is possible... Voice to text software has existed since the 80's, came to home computers in the 90's on Windows 95 with Dragon Naturally speaking.. which fit on a single CD (650MB).

My HP PocketPC in 2001 had voice to text and it only had 64MB! of RAM and 32MB! of ROM. DOS had dragon naturally speaking...

It's hogwash, really. They just want everything to pass through their servers, that's all.
