Setting up Google account with outlook 2016 using imap setting stop working

I have a google account that was working but just stop, and I been trying to reconfigure with no luck, I do have on use less secure apps but still not luck. I do not have two step turn on and not sure if I need that turn on but none of the other users have this turn on. The error I am getting is the user name and password box keep popping up and I retype the correct password in with no luck, and I tried to install this account with another outlook 2016 on another computer and it will not pass the initial connection. Any suggestions?

Yes.
1. Log in to your Google Account.
2. Open the Security pane.
3. In the Security pane, open the "Your connections to third party services" section.
4. Locate the entry for "Microsoft apps & services" and open it.
5. Activate the item, "Delete all connections you have with Microsoft apps & services" and confirm it.

Then start all over again with configuring the account on the Outlook side. You should be stepped through the Google OAUTH process again to re-establish communication between Outlook 2016 and Gmail for IMAP mail.
