You and who ever else is way over thinking this. Frame it like this - auto repair. Do they do all of those steps? Doubtful.

the KISS principle. It's called that for a reason and worth spending the time to contemplate what it means.
In my book you're going about this backwards. You need to start doing something, like repairing computers, then build the docs as needed. Are you all actually repairing anything now? If so how much? What types of repair? Nothing personal but you need the customers first.
