ScreenConnect - Slow File Transfers

I have found that file transfers from within ScreenConnect itself are really s-l-o-w.
Recently, I started using DropBox and the speed is much better but I am not keen about entering passwords on a client's infected machine, - etc. even if I change it after each usage.
Some of my files are ~100 Mb even when compressed into a self-extracting 7zip.
I am interested to know how other members are transferring files of this size when using ScreenConnect.

What are the network speeds of your network, your customer's network?
Is SC being hosted by you, or is there a third party network involved?
And finally, have you posted on the SC forums about this?

I have SC hosted on my network, a 50/10 pipe, and transferring large files to my customers on similar speed networks is pretty damned snappy.
I've been using SC for a few years, I *have* experienced slow file transfer speeds in the past, especially when I was using Linux/Java on my end and on older versions. With the recent versions using Windows on my end though, nice and quick.

Perhaps 10+ minutes for 100 Mb.
I am using the newest stable version.
As per my original post - the timings when using DropBox as the source of the d/l were much faster.
The observations were made with a 60/10 connection, hosted in my office on a Windows 7 Professional sp1 computer.
I don't know the speeds of my clients' networks as I don't want to ask them to try to find the invoice from their ISP etc.
I found a thread from three years ago that, in part, states that the bandwidth is cut on file transfers to 'give to the rest of the session'.

Never saw the thread before but it makes sense, gotta throttle the speed, else you'd be completely locked on the session while the file is transferring.
If you dig the DropBox thing, you can always add the file on your end, and then access it with their public_link doohickey thing they do. That way you won't need to log in on their side.

To me, this is another case of a disjoint between the marketing/sales pitch and the technical implementation (not that I want to complain or anything).
Their list of 'features' on the web site (marketing/sales) claims 'Drag and drop file transfer makes moving files quick and simple' but when technical people remark about the slowness SC states it should only be used for small files!

I never have issues with file transfer speed. Drag/drop, cut/paste, toolbox, etc all use the same mechanism. It's not highly optimized, but it should at least 75% of available bandwidth. We've made several improvements since that thread 3 years ago. You can contact support if you want us to look at it.

A 23 Mb file was transferred.
Screen Connect File Transfer: 20 seconds
Screen Connect ToolBox Transfer: 40 seconds
Screen Connect Copy and Paste: 45-50 seconds
Screen Connect Drag and Drop: Did not transfer
DropBox download (via Web Browser): < 10 seconds
We have recently upgraded our bandwidth and a current speedtest is 193 down and 16.67 up.
The client was 8.56 down and 7.10 up.
