Saw this on my twitter feed this morning - http://t.co/OKrA55ybD6
Maybe @JakeFromScreenConnect can chime in on this.
Yes, and I wouldn't expect either company to say otherwise. Press releases are rarely indicators of company policy or roadmap, rather tools to calm client and market reaction.According to the Screen Connect website they remain as they were a separate company and still selling Sc. From my reading this morning it sounds like Connectwise bought them to add to their offerings but are still allowing its purchase and use as before.
We're excited!
We will certainly offer ScreenConnect as the same standalone package as before. ScreenConnect Software LLC is a subsidiary just for ScreenConnect. The Raleigh development team will stay focused on the core product. They want us to grow by doing the same thing we've been doing for 5 years, just a little more of it.
LabTech customers get ScreenConnect for free. Their guys did a kickass job on the integration. And I think there more great things to come from them with integration.
@Instant Housecall - Corey, you are my first stop if these fears come to fruition.
Depends what you mean by "latest".What is the latest on ScreenConnect?
