Hi All,
I have a client who produces music and needs to write about 500GB of MP3s to portable external drives (in batches with the same data on each).
He does many of these a week and so has had a PC built for this purpose with 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back and one on the front but is only using the back ones.
He is only getting about 30MB/sec transfer rates and now the drives are both disconnecting with address error warnings in event viewer.
I'd like to put a better system together and I guess I need advice as to what to look for:
Separate USB 3.0 controller for each port?
More power to the port?
Sorry if this is a bit vague - I'll supply more info if needs be.
Thanks,
Paul
