Redesigned Site....

I like it. I would probably take out the "Welcome to PauerSource Computers. Bellingham and Whatcom County's premier provider of computer solutions"
or edit it so there is not so much white space between the top and bottom of it and the 3 blocks below it.

The pic inside the rotating pics with your company name is good, but the company name at the top logo spot is a bit hard to read for me
in that font. Might be good for others not sure.

Inside pages like "laptop Power Jack Repair" are good but a bit bland, might want to add some graphics to those pages. Maybe a right hand
widget with some things in it.

Not sure what you are doing with the "contact" page. I see the iPhone but nothing in it.

Overall very clean and professional looking.

I have to agree very professional, I like it also.

The logo and Ph numbers need to pop and at the moment my eyes are drawn to the BIG box below it. like you said its not finished yet, so I guess you are already aware of it.

Overall very good. Well done!

I think you should tweak the wording under each of the three pics (Virus, DC Jack, and keyboard) since it is copied directly from MY website word for word.
Otherwise it looks fine.

But thanks, I found a site that has literally copied my entire website at www.AlphaPCSupport.com in which I have contacted the owner, Hosting Service, and FTC.

Aaron,

First let me apologize. I was fully intending to change this to my own wording this week! I was using your text as filler as I was working on the actual formatting of the site itself. Again, I am sorry. They have been changed to my own words. No offense intended, I honestly was just using your text as filler, since it looked better than the demo text that came with the site template.

I really do understand how your feel about this especially with the recent blatant ripoff by that Austin outfit. I don't think PauerSource intended to rip you off; it just so happens one member saw another member's website and used a tiny bit of it as an example. I don't know exactly who I'm quoting here but remember: Imitation is (sometimes) the sincerest form of flattery! ;)

Can't agree more! Also, don't be surprised when people rip off your website or content; it's a very common undertaking, and really everything is fair game on the internet.

Anyway, to the OP - your site is quite beautiful! The colors and the design touches fit together so very nicely.

I hope you did your keyword research and have targeted the number one spot in terms of search engine results for your geographic area, because if you haven't, all you're going to have is a fancy web based flyer!

Common or not, that doesn't make it right. And, no, not everything is fair game on the internet. There is such a thing as copyrights; they may not hold much weight across international waters but if you copy from a site from within your own borders, it's the copier that becomes fair game.

You win, my Canadian friend. Fair game was a poor choice of words - and after doing a bit of googling, I found a great resource in this regard. Since I can't link until 15 posts, I'll quote with a reference.

Templetons.com Copyright Myths said:
These days, almost all things are copyrighted the moment they are written, and no copyright notice is required.

Copyright is still violated whether you charged money or not, only damages are affected by that.

Postings to the net are not granted to the public domain, and don't grant you any permission to do further copying except perhaps the sort of copying the poster might have expected in the ordinary flow of the net.

Fair use is a complex doctrine meant to allow certain valuable social purposes. Ask yourself why you are republishing what you are posting and why you couldn't have just rewritten it in your own words.

Copyright is not lost because you don't defend it; that's a concept from trademark law. The ownership of names is also from trademark law, so don't say somebody has a name copyrighted.

Fan fiction and other work derived from copyrighted works is a copyright violation.

Copyright law is mostly civil law where the special rights of criminal defendants you hear so much about don't apply. Watch out, however, as new laws are moving copyright violation into the criminal realm.

Don't rationalize that you are helping the copyright holder; often it's not that hard to ask permission.

Posting E-mail is technically a violation, but revealing facts from E-mail you got isn't, and for almost all typical E-mail, nobody could wring any damages from you for posting it. The law doesn't do much to protect works with no commercial value.

I gotta say...."Wow"...very nicely done. Sharp! The overall look and feel of that website is very nice, quite unique IMO. Doesn't have that "canned/generic" look like so many sites do. The slight 3D/pillowed appearance of objects is nice.
