I'm looking at adding more content on my site and was thinking about adding like a price comparison. Here in the UK we have TheTechGuys who are part of a major retailer group. I'm thinking of saying something like:

for xxx services Our Quote £49.99 Techguys £79.99 and so on. What do you think of the legalities of it? :)

Am i on thin ice with that? Should I just put the prices up and call them Well Known Big Store?

When I was doing some research on what to include on my site, I was comparing the local competition and one stated his prices against the large stores. Not sure on the legalities, but I can't see any harm putting "Well Known Big Store".

I think as long as the information is easily available and in the public domain then I cannot see a problem. I would have a link to those prices available just encase someone asks

the only way you can get in trouble is to quote it wrong. If they post right on the door with prices I can't see why you can't use it. Just make sure this information is correct and up to date.
