This simplifies things a bit too much. What customer cloud accounts may be out there (OneDrive, Google Drive, etc. that Fabs will duplicate), obsolete programs and missing license keys for re-installs, old app versions that the customer "must have" no longer available, and on and on.....Replace them with new, use Fabs to copy the data from the old to the new. What am I missing?
Restoring the new machine with an old image (as we've discussed) is an option that would resolve much of this but it has it's own pitfalls and obstacles. Any attached cloud accounts tend to get strange when the client has a different machine ID.
