I have a customer that has QuickBooks Premier Edition 2014 installed on 3 computers. Data file on server and shared according to network setup using QB database manager.
1 of the user accounts is only used when the receptionist is out and one of the girls from accounting needs to be at the reception desk.

The issue they are experiencing is when the are in View Balances on the left hand side of the QB windows one or more of the Bank Account balances do not match.
If they both log out of QB and log back in the balances match.

All systems running Windows 7 Pro & QuickBooks Premier Edition 2014 fully patched.

I have not looked at these computers yet but am going by what customer is saying.

I will be doing a remote session later today to take a look.

Any recommendations?

I can tell you the common things that QB tech support would have you do... which is basically run a Verify/Rebuild on the company file first. That usually is supposed to help take care of any inconsistencies in the company file. Another thing they have had us try in the past is do a backup of the company file, then a restore to a different folder on the server and then try to access that restored file to see if it looks any better. I seriously hate their support and we subscribe to their pro-advisor program (we support accounting firms that use it). Good luck getting support from Intuit though on 2014. They will most likely tell you they no longer support it, they seem to abandon anything that is older than 2-3 years and now that they released 2017 they will probably tell you to upgrade before they can help you.
