I have a client who is unable to install the Windows 7 SP1. The initial error was 0x800b0100. I looked at Microsoft's KB, which said to run the System Update Readiness Tool, which I did. Continued to receive the error. The CBS log is below.

Afterwards I ran Microsoft Fix-It for the issue. I was only able to run it in Default mode as there was no option to change to Aggressive Mode. This did not change anything.
I next reset the Windows Update Components following the steps listed here: http:/support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 Still no change. I also followed the steps here, http:/support.microsoft.com/kb/910336 to remove the download directory, but with no success.
I'm running out of options besides doing a complete data backup, OSRI, and data recovery, something we would very much like to avoid. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
