Has anyone ever participated in a print assesment/print consolidation project?
Currently I am working on reducing our fleet from 90 printers throughout 16 departments. We would like to eliminate deskside printers and update the MFPs. I have some of the basic info like page counts, media size, and accessories but I feel like I am missing something.
What kind of questions would you ask the end user when trying to pry out of them what it is they actually print or need in a printer? Because they all want color and Ledger size.
If you have done a printer consolidation before what were some of the most common complaints you heard from the end users?
