Prepaid Service Ticket Time Tracking

I keep hearing that creating prepaid support tickets is a great way to sell your services and avoid those little questions that clients call me about. Lots of computer repair companies recommended.

I want to create a unique ticket design using photoshop and have unique ID numbers so they don't reproduce the ticket and I want to put a barcode for me to scan to my accounting software when creating invoices.
I want to also put a QR code so they can scan the QR which will direct them to my website.

With that said, What is the best way to track Prepaid Service (support) tickets for you and for your clients?

I'm thinking of selling them Digital or Physical so they can give them away as gifts to family/friends (if they want to)
Problem is.....what app/program can I use to track the time? what if they want to know how much unused time is within each ticket? Do they call you guys every time they want to know about the unused time?

The tickets would sort of look like this (pic below). I use OSticket for repairs and they offer a client portal which works great. It would of been perfect if they offered a ticket tracking as part of the client portal.....Maybe I'm making it more complicated then it should be but I rather ask the experts on this field on prepaid tickets than trying to swim and encounter big issues.

Much love your rookie PC nerd.

I use Square Gift Cards. Check mine here. Not a plug, but just to show you what it looks like. I've made decent money off of this method.

Doing it in Photoshop or any image software would be a PITA for the numbers of tickets you may need to print. The design is easy enough, but to barcode each individual "ticket" and print it separately? Ugh, no! Unless you create a whole page at once and just use numbers instead of a barcode. Theres a couple other ways you can do it though.

Print your design with your QR code on card stock, probably 4 to 6 per page and use Avery label maker (free) to print your barcodes, it does it sequentially, and stick one on each ticket. OR, the better solution is to use something like Ticket Printing where you use your design and they do the rest for you.

That is a great idea.
I'll check that out.

My only issue left is finding out how I can keep track of the times on each ticket....

You should consult Lisa she is the pre Paid ticket Queen she has a video detailing how to do it.
