It is difficult to say the least. Well, at least in vmware.
I have been attempting this for the past weeks and have had no success. I have made a hackintosh in the past and it was far easier than setting it up in a vm. Id google around for Darwin, OSx86 or IATKOS. Make sure you load a legit copy of osx to keep it all nice.
For s&gs, I loaded iatkos s3 on a gateway laptop just now. Went smoothly. This is the same disk that gives me tons of kernel panics no matter what switches I use in vmware. My honest suggestion would be to load it up on an old dektop or laptop.

I certainly hope you have reported all the threads on here relating to using a Windows disk on a computer it wasn't made for.
However, the pirate ISO for installing OS X on machines is against the forum rules.

You want to learn OSX and make money supporting it, then invest a little money. Do it right and purchase an Apple Computer.

When I see them, and the percentage of Windows techs far exceeds the number of Mac techs on these forums, so when someone speaks about the same thing with a Windows license, about a hundred other techs will speak up before me. Plus if anyone is doing something like this with Windows they aren't boasting about it or acting like there is nothing wrong with it like some techs on these forums proudly boasting their hackintoshes (don't want to mention names even though there are a few)?
But if you are implying I'm being a hypocrite, the report system is a team effort for all of us when we see inappropriate threads, topics, members, etc..I may not report every Windows thing like posted on these forums, but I hardly read every thread on these forums. Only the ones that catch my eye. Also the definition of hypocrite pertaining to myself or anyone for that matter would be me slamming this thread but contributing towards threads regarding illegal use of other OSs, which I never have.
If anyone is a hypocrite, it's Apple.

Oh brother. Everything is against osx Eula. Let me guess... You are against jail breaking as well
To add to the thread hackintosh is much easier than vmware. Pretty straight forward as well with the correct hardware.
And before anyone jumps my case I do own a heap of apple products.
