Anyone use Pax8? I signed up for an account with them, had a conference call yesterday, had a few questions that were not answered. My guy said "I will get you these answers and get back to you." Today I find he's out of the office until Monday now.

So my clients have to wait until Monday to get answers to their questions? Isn't there anyone else I can talk to?

I use 'em. Actually migrating more and more stuff over as they're pretty great. Your particular situation *should* be pretty rare as my reps are almost always available to take a call or answer emails.

What kind of questions did you have if I might ask?

I'm on Pax8, and yeah sometimes individuals drop the ball. I have similar issues with Datto. I just call back get a manager and they sort things out. But I must admit, I haven't used their support a ton. I haven't needed it.

We started using them last summer, for our O365 CSP. Got tired of Ingram Micros painfully slow CSP portal, and since we were migrating over quite a lot...PAX8 started us at their top tier for margins. Love that PAX8 also sells monthly subs to you at annual pricing...so that works a lot better for us for our MSP clients..fitting into monthly invoicing.

Our wingman team is always responsive, you should have more than 1x person to reach out to right a away, not just 1x guy.

Sorry I got busy with clients and didn't make it back to the board until now. The questions I had were the following.

  1. Can I sell WebTitan without the 250.00 minimum?
  2. Can I get an NFR of WebTitan to demo and use inhouse?
  3. Am I able to sell Datto Cloud Continuity through Pax8 at the same price Datto is offering me directly?
  4. Can I move my current clients over to Pax8 from Datto or do I have to keep them there for the 12 months I promised?
Plus he was moving a client from Sherweb to Pax8 for the O365 and I was wondering if it was successful or not.

I don't do Datto through Pax8 so I won't be able to say one way or the other there. Although I will say Godspeed if you're using Cloud Continuity on any customer systems.

As for WebTitan, yes it still requires the 250 minimum if you want to do the MSP route and no they don't offer an NFR that I know of. If you don't have 250 users one thing you can do is utilize the shared cloud which only has a 25 user minimum but is sold per-end-company (so each company you have as a client requires 25 users). Everything is basically the same as going direct save for you get a slightly better discount I think, as well as the nicety of having everything on one bill each month instead of a bunch of separate bills from separate vendors.

They are meh in my opinion
You shouldn't need them for much support and that's what I have determined.
They onboard products with very little knowledge and support suffers.... Proof Point

But I run about 6k though em a month m. Connecrwise sync is good
