I use lastpass primarily but I also use blur which has some really cool features but from what I can tell it doesn't have a timeout feature on the blur extension so you stay logged in.

Another LastPass user here. Internally and for clients.

If you are security conscious look into the enterprise version. Using policies you can really lock things down. Some examples of things you can do.

- Enforce master password strength.
- Enforce 2FA. Supports Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, YubiKey, Duo
- Restrict login to IP. This is great for offices without mobile users.
- Restrict login by country
- Block mobile devices
- You can run Audits on your users to assess their password strengths and if passwords are being re-used. I currently score 80% :)

You can see them all here - https://lastpass.com/policy_doc.php

I keep my LastPass vault logged in on my main office PC at all times. Makes it easy to quickly and easily auto populate website login or right click in the form field and select the login I want.

Lastpasss here. Might switch to bitwarden though. Tired of paying for premium to have my passwords synced between devices. Right now I have it installed in Chrome on 6 computers + my phone.

I've been using LastPass since at least 2010 (paid version), probably 2009 or earlier. Pretty sure I was using it when the (only?) way to get it on Android was a plugin for Dolphin Browser. Was a premium user for most of that time to get mobile sync, but they dropped that requirement after their purchase along with raising the price so I'm currently on the free account. (@mikeroq) I was on a paid XMarks account for a big chunk of that time as well, but dropped it for Firefox Sync even before its demise was announced.

I also have Bitwarden installed, but haven't gone through and migrated over to it yet. That is the plan though.

My concern with Keepass (which I used before LastPass) is that there are all these implementations on anything you want to use it on, but nothing I'm aware of vouching for any of them. Want Keepass on Android? Pick one of the implementations done by third parties with no association with the official software except that their apps are listed on the official page. Browser integration? Same.

Such a password manager is as good and safe as the users themselves. I do use this myself but I advise my users to delve into it myself and see what suits them best.

I'm trying Bitwarden (thanks to its mention here) and it is great so far. I'll cancel my LastPass Premium when it expires. Free for the same functionality and security beats $32 CAD for LastPass Premium (which was just $12 the first year)!

Didn't see anyone mention it...

I've been playing with one called PassBolt for the last month. Free and self hosted. Didn't have all the features you might expect, but they've added features as I've been testing it. Including a big one that was missing which was filling forms.

I take this approach too.

I use one: Password Safe (open source portable app) and have it sitting in cloud storage. I might look at BitWarden after seeing it mentioned in this thread.

I don't recommend any to customers but I don't mind mentioning the names of well-regarded ones. People need to choose one themselves and understand how it works so they don't get into trouble, otherwise they're better off with pen and paper.
