PartitionMagic The Best option?

I Acquired a copy of Windows' most recently announced Os's Pre-Beta's.

I Currently Run only XP on my machine and was wanting to make a new partition in which i can mess around with the (legal) copies of more recent Windows OS's which i can select at the boot menu.

I'm not sure as to how i would reduce the partition size on my C: Drive so that i can make a new partition for another OS. Would partition Magic be the best took for the job.

Honestly I would never give my money to Symantec.. lol

But really, there's no need to buy PartitionMagic. There are some real good free alternatives out there. One example that I have used recently is called Parted Magic. The link is partedmagic.com but it looks like the site is down right now due to a hacker... but I'm sure you shouldn't have much trouble finding it.

Free version does Windows XP and 2000. And it does it from within Windows!!! Great partition software!

Partition Magic is garbage in my experience. I use GParted live with no problems. It's free too.
