Outlook PST Repair

She doesn't go online

This being the key part. I have had clients much as you describe, except that they had devices (e.g., engravers, cutters, etc.) that were extremely expensive to acquire that were from companies that went under and where updated software was not available.

I have no issue with doing whatever you need to do in order to avoid 5 and 6-figure outlays that are simply not necessary provided it can be done without going online.

I totally agree. Replacements / upgrades have become very expensive, especially regarding equipment from the dinosaur age.

I just updated someone to a new computer recently that has an embroidery machine...it wasn't like ancient ancient but was well past 10 years old and running windows 10. Had no discs or anything available for software etc...this was probably well over 5 grand to update it to latest software. I just ended up getting lucky and got a system image to go over to the new system and then update to win11 from there. Thankfully it all worked out perfectly in that case.

That's wonderful. Not all equipment is forward compatible like that. Good for you! :)
