[SOLVED] Orientation Sideways on Startup

Hi fellow Technibblers,

I have a client whose laptop (HP, Windows 10) starts with the orientation of the display being sideways. A quick CTRL + ALT + UP fixes it, but the issue returns upon restarting. Display/graphics settings show no signs of issue. Any ideas? Thanks big time.

Have you tried disabling the Intel graphics utility on startup and/or removed and reinstalled the drivers?

Disable rotation and hot keys, maybe is the keyboard

Look for hkcmd in start up.

As it turned out, reinstalling and updating the drivers fixed the issue. @NOLA IT Pro if I had seen this I would have tried this first! Definitely something to keep in mind, hadn't thought of that. I am too used to Windows 7, all of this touch screen compatibility sends me for a loop sometimes. Thanks again guys!
