online backup vs offsite backup

I gave up with crashplan it wasn't uploading properly.

I have purchased an 8TB WD Gold drive for £280.
Will be running a backup to that in next few days and then transferring to business server.

Backblaze is $4.99 a month so I'll most likely backup everything from a seperate VM within the server, best of both worlds

I thought I was the only one having this issue lol. Even after speaking with help desk the issue still wasn't fully resolved. Also have a client currently experiencing this issue. Moving over the Backblaze business as implementing the residential has given me no issues in the past.

Can you explain to me a little clearer what you mean about backing up from a separate VM within the server.

I can install a seperate VM just to handle this additional drive, from within that VM I can install the backblaze software and backup the drive.
