Searching for names for addressing emails and searching in the "People" section of Office 365 is seriously broken for one of my clients.
Example: while composing and email I'll type "church" (that's someone's last name) and I'll get some results but not the person I'm lookin for and I don't see that text in any of the results. Maybe it's in a note or something for the contact, not sure.
Example 2: I can click on the "People" icon and try to search his contact list. Similar flawed results.
Troubleshooting: This flawed behavior exists whether we're trying the desktop version of Outlook 2013 and every browser on every different computer I've tried by logging into the webmail portal at https://outlook.office.com
Exception: It works on my me@hisdomain.com account. About a year ago I imported his contact list into my test account. The search works as expected for me
Solution: I believe lies in reindexing or rebuilding his contact list in Office 365. Every solution I come up with when searching wants me to do it through Outlook. I tried one but it didn't seem to help. I'm thinking I need something server side. Please help me avoid a painful call to Microsoft's support
