Office 2007 stopped working after windows update

I have a dozen customers all same problem office 2007 office& home stopped working you can't uninstall it and you can't re-install it and yes they are all legit bought them on sale at future shop and some customers bought from best buy.
if i try running the install window opens then closes right away.

Tried that it refuses to restore before those updates on all machines.

I don't know whether you mean you can't uninstall it because it physically won't uninstall or because the client doesn't want to, but you could try RipOutOffice2007 to forcibly remove it.
