I’ve just assembled a new system with the ASUS B 350 f M/B and a Ryzen 5 2400g.

16gb memory and a RX570 video card.

There is no video output from the system at all from either the HDMI socket of the M/B itself or from any of the 4 video outputs of the video card. Nothing-not a flicker.

Any help appreciated.

Are all the cables connected properly, PCI Power cables as well, card seated correctly?
Checked CPU and RAM are seated correctly.

Can you test with another Vid Card, just to rule that out.

Ya... talked to ASUS support. Needs a bios update which I can’t do unless I buy an older Ryzen processor and get the system to boot up.

Do repair shops keep standby processors for cases like this?

Some do. It all depends on how often they see these issues. If it was a weekly/monthly occurenceI would say sure but once or twice a year, you do the math. I would make it part of the cost for the job and the client can pay for it if they want/need it done.

You see this because of 2 things.
Client tried to build it on thier own. Thier problem for the cost.
You spec and build for a client. Your problem for not foreseeing that this might be needed and not factoring a second processor at the beginning of the build. (lack of experience or research).
