instaled the drivers on the acer aspire 3500, mouse pad great but keyboard not working correctly some key's ok some do nothing some do the wrong thing.

The keyboard should work during the OS install - prior to installing drivers. Did it? If so - it sounds like one of your drivers was not correct.

I know it's stating the obvious, but you haven't got numlock on have you? The number of calls I've had for "faulty laptop keyboards" that turn out to be numlock

or try pressing the Alt Gr key - sometimes this sends keyboards funny

Check the international settings in Control Panel - make sure you have the correct keyboard layout loaded.
