Nice Windows 8 based PE boot cd

I guess you changed your post. My email has one from you with unetbootin so I went ahead and tried that. Works fine even though they claim that it is supposed to be for *nix distro's.

Booted fine from a regular stick so I'm building one on my AT&T stick. But I don't have a EUFI machines so I don't know how it would work in that environment.

haha yeah, I thought it was unetbootin at first, and then thought (wait, that's for linux!), but yeah, glad it worked out anyway :)

I think that Sierra is doing some "funny" things with their stuff re: usb storage. unetbootin produced a properly working w8pe on the regular USB stick. When I tried to do it on the Aircard 313u (4gb microsd) it ran through no complaints.

So I tried to boot the Aircard on the Dell Mini I used for testing the regular usb stick. It takes closed to 20 seconds for the Aircard to complete power up and the Mini did not see it at all as a boot. Tried it on a D610. Powered up and F12 to select boot device. Waited for the aircard to power up and it boots but to the unetbootin layer, no PE. So I used the W7 tool to create the image on the Aircard. Still would not boot on the Mini but was able to get the image to boot on the D610. Now I just have to figure out how to add the AT&T Communications Manager to the programs.

Updated Win8PEx86 that now includes a new x64 version

This updated x86 version also available in x64 includes the apps listed below as well as some new ones, like Internet Explorer 10 and ClamWin Antivirus. I have also applied any new updates to all the portable apps. I am no longer including the ‘press any key’ version, since most users seemed to prefer the version that does not prompt to press a key.

  • Google Chrome 31
  • Internet Explorer 10
  • 7Zip
  • MBR Fix
  • ServiWin
  • Regshot
  • Clamwin Antivirus

I think this will be one of the first things I add to my new iteration of PXE-Dust. My PXE boot program. :D Thank you for this.

I'd love to get our Ghost license integrated into this. How would one go about doing that?

Edit: Nevermind. Got it done.

Is there a way to expand the iso to add room for more apps? When I tried to add some from "Portable Aps" after 2 or 3 it said no room left.
Thanks for the help
