Welp...I've gone and done it. Decided it was time to move away from the plain jane html and upgrade to a responsive website. I wasn't so sure about it at first.. but as I was designing it, it all fell into place and I love the outcome of it. Got the SSL setup for google-loving and it looks great on my mobile devices.

I have implemented a new TotalCare support plan which will be rolling out in the new year at some point once I feel like I have everything taken care of and I'm waiting on some things that Emsisoft is apparently putting into play. So I'm going to wait on anything that comes from them before I set it in stone for pricing.

It loaded and my first thought was "woah, busy" and hidden in the buzy-ness was this almost ironic "Keeping IT Simple". Cute, but I'd lose the overload of your logo on every device.

I really like the calls to action.

Rates:

I found this "Custom Flat-Rates can be assigned to custom issues" to be a funny way of saying "Repairs quoted following diagnostics" or in your own words used elsewhere "custom flat-rate quotes".

I found this $30 /½ hour to need another space / and ½. I'd also left alight the price and float out the / hr to the right...

Your onsite is cheap. Wow... this takes you out of action for along time... time that you could be juggling 4 systems on the bench and a few remote sessions on the go.

These:

  • Pick up service is generally free of charge within service areas (See our FAQ).
  • Depending on the circumstances, if we cannot perform your repair, there is no payment.

Are too vague. Is there or isn't there a charge?

Really like the simplicity of the page though. Clean layout.
Home Tech Services
>>We ONLY use legal software.

Weird. Why bring it up?

That was a long list... with a lot of prices. Maybe a table is better if your pricing is this complex.

Business vs. Residential pricing tiers. I tried this and it always felt weird. What if they are a home-based business? What if they a residential call-out for the business that you charge business rates to, but they need a home service to tune up their home system so that they can log into their office computer? Bah, just charge one price. It will weed out the lower tier customers that can't afford you and you can always discount your old grand-dads etc.

Elsewhere:

I get it, you love Emsisoft, and you did a great job presenting it. But it almost felt like your services played second fiddle.

Nice About Us.

Maybe a head shot since you are really striving for the personal touch.

Really beautiful site. Love how your Cookie consent was an annoying little jack russell until I finally consented.

This:

  • You're not a number. We treat you like family.
Caught my eye and really jumped out at me. Really good.

I know eh? I was thinking the same thing. I'll probably bring it back to black screens

I actually had it spaced out before and I was like naw. I'll take a look at that again. As for the wording, I'll take another glance at that.

The On-site rates have been something I've been juggling for a long time. Before I used to have res/business completely different. Now it's the same for both. I'm looking at possibly going to 80/hour for business but i'm torn. Reason is, I'm not full time. I deal with my small business clients in town most of the time remotely. If i need to go on site i'm there at the end of the day. This works well for them since they know the job gets done anyway, if it's urgent, remote is always an option. But yeah. I'll see how things go.

Thanks @Mainstay for the good eye! I need someone else like this to check things that I miss. I'll get those things remedied on the next update in a few. Thanks for taking the time to look at this for me.

Oh boy... where do I start. I know you were waiting on me to chime in. :D

1. Still WP :p
2. The menu bar has too much whitespace (padding) and when you scroll down, your logo is too small.
3. Index image tells me you only service Apple computers.

I'll continue after I look it all over and when I have time. Too much going on right now. But so far, its not bad and better than your last one.

To add:
Remote Support $30 / ½ hour

Could be:
Remote Support $1 per minute ;)

Also, you could technically combine your In Shop and Fault Diagnostics into one.

Various places: Black text on Orange background. Try white text.

haha thanks. It's actually not WP. I wouldn't touch that stuff.

You may want to check your site. At the bottom of every page is this:

<script type="text/javascript" src="//img1.wsimg.com/tcc/tcc_l.combined.1.0.6.min.js"></script>

You'll need to remove that. Simply login to your CPanel, by the CPanel menu there are 3 dots. Click on it and choose Help Us. Click Opt Out.

What is that? I'm using the GoCentral builder. I don't have a cpanel.

I found it, Robert. It was in a setting that I had enabled. I don't need it anyway. I use google analytics. Thanks for catching that one.

Hmm... Your website is triggering Emsisoft, saying "img1.wsimg.com is a known malware host and was blocked."

Letting Emsisoft block the website makes all images on your website go poof.

Godaddy doesn't want to work with them. I've contacted them already. Some dick head has malware uploaded in a .doc on the server and at one point it was flagged.

Ah. Well, it sucks having your legitimate website flagged because of some random asshat.

Have you considered using a CDN like Cloudflare or AWS by any chance?
