Ok I have the site finished, at least I think I do. I wanted to get everyones input on it. Make sure my grammar is correct lol. It is built off a wordpress theme. I chose wordpress because it is quick and easy to update from pretty much anywhere.

http://callnutech.com

the home page and welcome page have the same content and kind of mean the same thing. i would delete the welcome page and link button

Overall I think it's good. Two things I'd change is the page title; on my pc it is just 'http://callnutech.com/'. Another thing is I'd switch the locations of the social networking links to facebook and twitter with your phone number which is currently at the bottom of the page. I'd also make the phone number a bigger font just for emphasis.

Just noticed, you should read the text in your site as some of it doesn't appear to make sense, eg:
Viruses are a major threat, and are not the viruses of old. Who’s main goal was to render your computer useless, now the intent is more malicious

Yes I thought I changed the site description so it would show in the browser, the theme I chose is a bit buggy. I change things and then they don't change I will get to work on the title. About the Social links, I was thinking the same thing as you.

My wording and grammar is why I posted for a critique. I have never been the best with words. :)

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Backup now to save headache and heartache later It’s a proven fact most computer owners do not back up their precious documents. Like pictures, music, documents, imagine how devastated you would be if you lost your picture collections of your children during their most precious times in life. These files once lost may not be recoverable, and in most situations are not. The importance to backup your important files is often underestimated. Don’t be another statistic we can help, with our onsite, and offsite backup solutions.
Onsite backup: This is where you use an external devise to make an exact backup of your important files on your computer.
Offsite backup: All of your important files are stored on another computer or devise away from your home. This is the recommended method of backup. Protecting your files during a fire, flood or other natural disaster.

Onsite backup: An automated system which uses an external device (for example a portable hard drive, or a second drive inside your computer) to make an exact backup of the important files on your computer.

Offsite backup: Recommended. All of your important files are stored on another computer or device away from your home. We recommend this system in conjunction with onsite backup as it protects your files against being lost by theft from your house, and from fire, flood or other natural disaster.

You should give the site a nice Title, rather than just callnutech.com in the title bar... also, do you -have- a newsletter? Overall, the thing looks rather nice.

Thanks everyone for the help. I did redo the specials page, I hope I did not butcher it to much.

I also finally got the title straightened out, this theme I chose has really been a pain to get everything to apply like it should. Hopefully after business picks up more, and my shop is open in Jan. I can hire a pro to design me a proper one.

I am still working out the kinks on the newsletter. The way I have it setup with feedburner is I post to a newsletter page I created in Wordpress. The issue I am having is no matter what I do that page keeps showing up as a link on the site, in a weird place mind you, not in the menu. I have been all through the code and I can't come up with a reason why. It only started putting the link in after I moved the social network links to the bottom of the sidebar.

New site design

Ok, I'm at it again, everyday I would look at my site and think god I hate it. Well after about an hour of tinkering today, can changing up the theme I think I am finally happy.

Not much of the wording has changed, but just the overall look and feel of the site. If anyone has any suggestions, I am always open to them.

BTW link to the site is in my sig..

The site looks great! Nice layout and graphics. Good work! :)

Front page - "Need some advise" - change to "ADVICE"
For SEO purposes, check keyword density and add internal links to preferred keywords.

Add a meta descriptin

add ALT text to all images
