New Hard drive

Can I fit a Samsung 400GB SATA II 300 7200rpm 16MB cache Hard Disk Drive oem to my ASUS P4C800 Motherboard, CPU is a 2.8g, and I have 2gb of ram running Windows XP. If I can't ran the above Hard drive ...what hard drive (with the largest storage space) would be suitable for the motherboard...dont want to upgrade the motherboard as yet.
