Network Setup for Pub

Hello people.

I have an opportunity to quote for a small networking setup for a new pub. I'm mostly doing residential, with only a handful of business clients, but a pub/small restaurant is a first for me.

The request is quite simple, two main areas...indoor and outdoor WiFi setup + 3 network points. POS in use by waiting stuff is dependent on WiFi.

Since this is a very simple setup, I thought of using TP-Link Omada instead of Ubiquiti, so that would include:

1. Some basic firewall to protect, mainly, the POS
2. Unmanaged TP-Link switch w/ PoE
3. To which these will be connected: (probably) Surveillance system that's provided by a different company, and (for sure) Omada controller
4. 2 x APs (the higher end ones)

What I'm unsure about is the firewall. I don't want to over engineer a basic setup, but on the other hand I read that TP-Link's firewalls are not really used in the business. Do you have any recommendations for the firewall? I also don't want the firewall to be a bottleneck to the setup due to poor processing.

Any other recommendations you see fit are also appreciated.

Thank you :)

You probally want 3 vlans one for office computers one for pos and one for public wifi

Normally would use the unifi ap ac pro for that job

Would recommend untangle for firewall
