I'm trying to install an ATI Radeon 7500 video card on my new computer running Windows XP. Right now I'm using ATI Radeon HD 3200 which is better but it doesn't have s-video. I've got it working just fine on Windows XP on an extremely old computer. I installed the drivers normally through Windows' found new hardware wizard. I then uninstalled the ATI Catalyst Control Center that the integrated graphics used. When I start the computer using the video card, the image is extremely garbled and unreadable. I'm not talking about just bad colors, I mean something just isn't right. I've got it disabled right now. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really want to get this card working.
