I have the entries for my logo contest and I created a web page that has all the entries. If anyone would like to give me their opinions on which entries they like, I would appreciate it. I have not narrowed it down to any specific design as I am a little stuck as to which I like, many are very nice looking.

Here is the link to the web page I made to display the entries. I will be identifying the logo by the number of the row and the column.

Here is the link to the tournament and I just updated the rankings.

Again, I want to thank everyone for their opinions and input!

D4 has my vote. C4 and A1 are also very nice looking.

Thank you for your input!

What do you think about 2C and 2D (on round 3) and 5A?

I like the circle in the middle of 2C and 2D which has a yin-yang feeling to it.

I like 5A because it focuses on the "Integrity" name, but 2C/D focuses on the "Integrity Computing" part.

IDK, sometimes too many choices can make things more difficult.

Round 3, Row 1, Column D.

  • It is the least generic
  • The font is interesting
  • Can be easily converted for print use
  • Symbol, not words can be recognized even when in small print.
It's the best one there hands down just for versatility alone. What you want in a logo is not the coolest looking one, but you want it to match these standard in order of most important to "least important but still required"

  • Brandabilty
  • Memorability
  • Versatility
  • Continuity
  • Simplicity

4-D looks the best, but it's the worst one of the whole set since it's almost forced to use that exact shade of dark background to work properly. Not to mention when you convert it to greyscale it's almost useless.

The only thing I would do is ask for a higher contrasting orange in 1-D before paying for it. Also, as a side note- in the future the "i" can be easily turned into a person. people love familiar shapes, especially those in the shape of people. It's why the cavemen drew stickmen on the walls of their caves ;)

Another thing. A logo is not just a "symbol" it's something that represents your company as a whole. If you have a crappy logo, you look unprofessional, untalented and also just plain cheap. If you have a professional logo then you will look highly professional, very talented which in turn will draw in more business and furthermore allow you to create a brand out of your company.

As an ex-Graphic Designer I give that logo a 6/10. It's simple enough, and versatile just maybe not rememberable enough. Also, the word "COMPUTING" can be orange as well.

EDIT: Here is a sample of that logo in use.

Going through them now...just a quick question. Who are you using, logo tourament?

I am kind of curious about this myself.

They are all good looking logo's for sure but I think JosephLeo is correct in saying a lot of them look similar to other logo's that are out there.

2C/D seem too busy to me, although I like the round thing a lot. In light of what JosephLeo said about print, my new vote is 5D followed by 5A. I like 5D better because its only 2 colors and it just looks great. You could put that logo on everything and it would look good.

I'm not sure why he's not answering my question. Maybe he's got something to hide

Although I am pretty sure it's logo tournament :)

Thank you for your reply, and thank you to everyone else as well!!

I like the simplicity of 5D and I do think it would be very easy for print.

Does anyone know of a way to verify that the design I pick isn't already being used by some company?

Also I am using http://logotournament.com/

Also, what do you people think of 4C?

Finally, I found that it was possible to extend the judging of the logos and I extended it for 5 more days. This should give me some more time to verify that the logo isn't being used by someone else.

Wow, I have something to hide??? Did I lead anyone astray? I never even answered the question about where the contest was being held. I simply didn't include it in my response as it was 4am when I was writing... I APOLOGIZE...

Anyway, someone found it and posted it. I made the page because it was easier for my friends and family to select their favorite on each row.

Whatever. I appreciate everyone's comments on the logos but am a little taken aback about all the "top secret", "something to hide" etc. Oh well, I guess it was a little odd.

I just did it my way because I thought it was easier to compare the
