Need help picking remote software!

My needs are actually quite simple. Most of my business is residential, I would just like the ability to deal with unfinished business without having to drive all over, or attend to the little annoyances my clients have that are worth fixing but not worth a separate trip for...stuff like that. I would like, of course, to get into it more hardcore like CallThatGirl (!), but that will take time. Anyway...specifically...file transfer, multiple platforms (I have a few Linux peeps now), and most importantly EASY INSTALL. My clients are easily confused and frightened so these bare-bones solutions that take a lot of steps just won't work. Branding would be really nice as well.

Thanks for the tip MobileTechie...hmmmm....

Depending on how often these issues occure you may want Log Me in Resuce. No program running in the background all the time so no worries from customers about you being able to access their computer without their permission.

It quickly pays for its self in time and fule costs. Plus you can also immediately start working on a clients computer to perform a triage diag when they call in to setup an appointment. You might even be able to save a site visit all togehter if you can do the full repair via remote.

Plu you will have the ability to fix those annoyance problems as needed with just a quick connection as you are wishing to do.

Imagine if you will someone that calls in with a problem... you offer to fix the problem via remote and "include" a site visit should the problem not be fixable via remote. Now compound that if you get two calls close together. This speeds up your time to get paid as you can immediately get started on repairs versus trying to juggle appointment times.

There is no better time to fix a computer when someone calls in than right then.

Apparently a lot of people use logmein from what ive seen it seems pretty good and is client friendly.

Has anyone ever used RemoteZilla? http://www.remotezilla.com/. Looks like it has a good number of features and not over the top expensive.

I used RemoteZilla. for more than a year now. I tried dozen of software and I decided with RemoteZilla.

1) The price is cheap ($195 / $395)
2) Free update
3) 0/40/56/128 bit Data Encryption Security - (Less security for slow connection)
4) Repeater option. This is the best feature for me. I can offer remote session anywhere internet connection is available. (Included in the price)
5) And most feature offer by other remote software

Remote software

Teamviewer hands down. Most secure. Ease of use. Good support with paid version I've heard but I've never had a need to request support.
