The site doesn't load at all for me this morning using FF or Chrome.
Site is up now. I will check your DBS as soon as I am back in the office my friend. Thanks guys. I'm offline now.
I tried to restore it today but not really sure how to do it.
Well, if you don't get it done... I know a forum in the wide, wide web where you'll find bundled competence in such things (sorry, I really could not resist...) :-Dbut not really sure how to do it
The problem is not his actual website, its a module that doesn't play nice with the latest WP version - its not writing to the SQL DB correctly (and of course there isn't a new version of the module). I have the module and will be looking over the coding to see if I cannot get a work around to make it work. If not, there are other options.Well, if you don't get it done... Thank god (or whom it may concern) That I am using plain wp on my sites. But believe me: I felt in this trap a long time ago, too. So you see me keeping my fingers crossed that everything will go well.its a module that doesn't play nice with the latest WP version
One reason I switched to TSO hosting. They back up everything for you, including any DBs you have. restoring is a one-click job.Whatever backup solution you go for, if you have it you can rest assured that you can get your site back up if anything like plugins or other corruption makes your site go pear shaped.
Hope this helps.
This is what all legitimate hosting companies do, or should do.One reason I switched to TSO hosting. They back up everything for you, including any DBs you have. restoring is a one-click job.
Yes but these guys actually make it easy to do the restore and put it in my hands. That's not been the case with other hosts I've used here. This is what all legitimate hosting companies do, or should do.
