My TuneUp Checklist

I already have the app almost done, actually is pretty done.
Let me know who will like to give it a try.

Props to Iisjman too, for even thinking of doing the tune up check list. Apols for not saying it earlier my friend.

I would love to give the App a whirl garva, if you wouldnt mind sending it over plse.. many thanks :)

There are some minor bugs that i am working on, but if you want to give it a try i'll upload as soon as I can.

Known Bugs:
When you click on one of the item that have a recommended app, you are forced to choose one app, or simply press the run program button, otherwise other options are frozen.
Also for application as SIW the app has to be run as administrator
Hope you'll like it, please post any comments or improvements.

Finally here is the link :cool:

Thanks for the list, I am planning on adding an extra branch on the tree to give you credit.
I am also working on the bugs mention above.

The report looks good as far as I can see. However, what I would love to see, is along the same lines as what belarc runs. IE the licence key, together with a list of all the hard ware. (I put all this info into my database), especially the licence key, we all know how the paper thin vista license is, and how easily it can rub out.. Especially if the drive is dead.. I know we can use different progs to get this info, but I personally would find it easier, if everything was in the one app.

Not sure if the above is possible or not.

done with this
+1 for the list
Now working on something like Methical's script, if time allows me.
Great ideas on this forums thanks guys

My script has the ability to create a custom script out of the menu options.

You could create one to gather info on the system, one to backup drivers, passwords, registry etc, and one to cleanup/tuneup the system.

I lost my latest version, (with all the bug fixes from the alpha testers, and a few new features) and its really put me in a downer :(

@Garva

Does your app that your working on, does it perform those steps, or is it for you to tick off as you go along ?

@Methical
Right now that is just an idea, how you lost that great script? I never got the chance to look at it, but it sounded to be a good script. Are you planning on working on it again? Do you have the old versions?If so I would like to work with you.

@iisjman07
I will try to upload again
