I agree with stevenamills. The site looks great visually, but it took 45 seconds for the initial page to load, which would cause me to be impatient and move on.

Consider optimizing your images to reduce their size, while keeping them visually pleasing. Here's a great article that you might consider.

I like the look of the site.. pretty clean. I also liked the toolbar on the bottom, but I could do without the popup notification window. I also have to agree with the performance observations. It could use some optimization - home page took awhile to load and the site as a whole felt a little sluggish. Outside of those two minor things, I like it! Good job!

Also, if anyone's looking for a Joomla template, here's one I've always thought looked good - JSN Epic.

Is there any reason why you don't have it running from the root directory?

Edit: Also, you need to put a favicon in other then the default joomla favicon.
