Almost a year since I started this thread and time for an update! So brandjacking is a thing, basically, it's when you try and rank in the search for your competitors brand name and related terms (like their name + city). This works very well when you have a competitor that is running a radio advertisement. Lots of branded terms being searched for.
This is the first part of a two-part experiment where I try and brand jack a local competitor's business name and personal name + location.

Obviously, you are not going to rank the very first spot - but you can "steal" a percentage of traffic based on these search rank position percentage study results.
