For my 71st birthday I gave myself a present, something I've been meaning to do for years... a previously owned adult ridden Yamaha FZ6. Love the speed of this baby. I look for any reason to get out and ride and I've found that I can fit as many as 6 new Dell 14" laptops in my backpack

Nice looking bike.
I've owned a so-called cruiser before, a Kawasaki ZL600 which sported a 600cc Ninja engine and 4 carbs... a fun bike to ride but I left that bike with its front wheel in the left rear wheel-well of the car who made a U-Turn in front of me

Oof, need it sooner. Me and the special lady are going on a ride with some friends to do a little climbing/hiking tomorrow.

I put the stock exhaust back on my bike (bought it used, had the Cobra pipes on it but guy gave me the stock one too) which I had put off for 2 years because there are holes drilled in the cans. He probably did that to see how it sounded before getting the Cobra pipes.... anyhow, Cobras look great but man, I can't stand the noise! Even with the holes drilled, the stock pipes are a dream for longer trips. They look stupid compared to the cobras though

So no pictures! Hehe

And...since Spring is almost here...time to bounce this thread.
Just brought home this semi classic today...drove to New Hampshire to pick up this '97 Softail Springer. Got some customizing to do....switch out that seat, get a larger teardrop headlight and additional driving lights, big sissy bar, get some floppy leather saddle bags, luggage rack. Springers are getting rarer....I had to get one. Gotta repaint the jugs too.
