Missing video output

Got this one in an hour ago and can't figure it out, the video output is missing

Installed a video card and it works just fine but I thought some of you would get a chuckle out of this.

Had one like this about three years ago from a small business. They were moving all their PC equipment from one side of the store to the other. The owner couldn't remove the VGA cable (didn't realize it had thumbscrews). He kept pulling harder and harder thinking it was "stuck". He finally gave it a huge yank and pulled the entire thing right off the MB and out the back of the case!

I had this same scenario last week. My clients friend, the expert, broke off the connector and didn't say anything! My customer couldn't figure out where to plug her monitor so I got the call.

I just started a thread in Hardware because I'm trying to find a cheap PCI graphics card to replace the spare I used.

To me it looks like it never had on board vga.. That's a pretty clean rip if they pulled it off.

Exactly, it doesn't appear that the connector was forcibly ripped through the IO plate in this case like glricht and mr m are talking about. I didn't get the story on it, they just pointed to the back of the computer and said that the video connector was missing. The VGA connector wasn't bouncing around the inside of the case so it's a bit of a mystery.
