Hey- while we're in the 1K Post mood, lets add another guy to that tally. I am officially 1,000 post member #13! Yep, unlucky #13. Oh well. I wanted 12, but Protech took that luxury from me ;)

So- to celebrate, Bryce will be giving away the Computer Business Kit away for the low- low price of $49 USD- so buy now while the sale is on!

Sorry, I don't have anything to celebrate with. Anyway- here's to another 1,000 post and another 2months and 2 days here at TechNibble!

Come on Methical- I know your being sarcastic, but still. Can you honestly say that I've had a single spam post yet. Everything I ever said so far on the forum sparked and interesting topic, or at the very least and most often contributed to the current topic.

I aint' no spammer- just crazy!

Come to think of it, how far are you from West Palm? I may be visiting my grandparents out there next month.

Fort Lauderdale, FL is only about 45 minutes away from West Palm Beach. Technically I live in "Oakland Park" FL- but like many other micro-cities in the area it's only about a square mile or so (Wilton Manors is across the street from me, and Fort Lauderdale is 2 blocks away)

Tell me when you're in town and I'd be more than happy to try and free up my schedule if I'm not busy. Maybe it can be considered the first TechNibble meet?

This is very true- although I will feel obligated to give you a share.

A little unrelated though, care to PM me a little more about yourself? Obviously I know your name and I can assume you're Italian. But maybe a little info on our age difference- I know you have a wife so you must be at the very least a little older than me.

Boy did this topic veer off course...then again it wasn't an interesting topic to begin with. 1K post- meh...I'm already bored of it and want the 2k now.

Accomplished? Puh-lease! If I was an accomplished designer I wouldn't be doing PC repairs. $600 for a 4-page website sounds so much better than $129 for a virus removal.

I may have some well-above-par (birdie?) graphic designing and coding skills, but the reason I stopped was because I could never meet my customers demands as far as time takes. For example- look at my website. You seen the examples about 2 weeks after I joined and look now- STILL no website. :p

I just mention "as an ex-graphic/web designer" because I really was at one point and TN occasionally has topics where that matters. For example- some people might ask for Website Help. ;)

Lol saw that.. Nothin' like CSS to do the trick for ya :P
I hated that about web development as well.. bloody IE would never play nice lol.

And its hard to get into web design and make a living off it. These days most computer savvy people know how to use DreamWeaver and a graphics editor to whip up a flash lookin' webpage.

Ahhh.. your just a perfectionist on it. Well within your rights as well to be; it is the 'internet face' of your business after all .. First impressions last ..

It's not that hard if you don't make yourself and exclusive web designer. For example, I was making 1 website a week, but I was also doing things like logo's, business cards, brochures, advertisements, etc. I also did all the printing for the customer as well thanks to the brokering rates I got at PsPrint and a local print shop- at the time I also owned my own digital copier for small jobs as well which was good.

Minus the websites I was averaging about 8 customers a week with $100 per customer on average (minus printing as well)

I'm just to fast with that "Submit Reply" button- although this website is really cutting into my debugging time for MY website.
