Is there any way to totally hide malwarebytes' popup message? When we setup malwarebytes for customers, premium version, we disable notifications, untick notify user if database is out of date, untick show notification after successful update under schedule, select check for updates before scanning etc, what else can be done to make everything silent.

If your clients insist on doing stuff that triggers MBAM then you are doing a disservice to your clients by wanting to turn warnings off. I NEVER EVER get a peep out of MBAM on any of the computers I operate.

Thank you for the reply Porthos, do you leave all default settings? Most of the time we get scan complete pop up, update pop up and when standard user try to update it doesn't update due to permission etc.

Standard user. That is your problem. Windows really doesn't run properly when users don't have admin rights. You trade one set of problems for another.

I deal with home users only. That being said...

I am sure I will be blasted for this.....

I have NEVER used limited accounts and furthermore when an admin makes new accounts for other people 99% of the time they will just give them the admin password any way due to all the admin popups any way because most users need to do many more things on a computer than just open a browser and the "mom or dad" don't want to deal with it.

The only MBAM settings I adjust is the DAILY scan and place a check on the setting that reduces the cpu use during scan. I use weekly scans only.

I always leave notifications enabled, the only changes we make in settings are:

Detection & Protection - Enable 'Scan for Rootkits' & make sure PUM & PUP are treated as malware.
Advanced Settings - tick everything.
Auto Scheduling - Threat Scan - Advanced - Scan for Rootkits.

And weekly scans (unless they are repeat offenders, then it's daily.)
